The seminar held from March 9 to 13 at the NADA Academy, in Las Vegas, USA, was a very important event for the SIOMAA group, as they were able to participate with about 30 people from both the convention and the NADA Show. During the days of the seminar, there were different speakers who addressed relevant topics in the automotive industry and dealership management. Guido Vildozo, from IHS Markit, was in charge of speaking about the "Latin American Market Outlook 2022-2025". In his presentation, Vildozo analyzed the current trends in the Latin American automotive market and made a projection of what to expect in the coming years. Attendees were able to get a clearer picture of the future market outlook and how they could prepare to meet the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities. Michael Hayes, NADA instructor, spoke on "The Market Transition to Alternative Cars." In his presentation, he explained how electric vehicles and other types of alternative vehicles are gaining ground in the automotive market and what the implications of this transition are. Attendees were able to learn about the latest trends in the industry and how they can prepare to meet the needs of customers choosing these new types of vehicles. Mark Johnson of MD Johnson presented on "The Dealership Sales Process - The Family Issues". In his presentation, he focused on the challenges that can arise in the dealership sales process, especially when family issues are involved. Attendees were able to learn about the main difficulties that can arise and how they can effectively address them. Finally, there was a talk on "Marketing into the future. Generation Z". In this presentation, it was analyzed how the new generations are changing the way business is done in the automotive industry. Attendees were able to learn about the latest trends in marketing and how they can adapt their strategies to attract younger customers and meet their needs.
