General Motors renewed its partnership with CESVI for the sixth consecutive year. General Motors Argentina announced the renewal of its agreement with the Centro de Experimentación y Seguridad Vial (CESVI), which focuses on the promotion of road safety throughout the country, exchanging resources, training and content generation. CESVI Argentina is dedicated to the analysis of the road behavior of Argentine men and women on the roads, recognizing problems that threaten road safety. As a result, it prepares an educational plan, with the aim of training and informing about actions to improve road safety, and then a communication plan, to disseminate it in the media, but also to disclose results and statistics obtained in the survey. On the other hand, General Motors provides CESVI with a series of Chevrolet Cruze units, used in the courses that the entity carries out throughout the national territory, specifically to train students. Raúl Mier, Commercial Director of General Motors Argentina, commented that the link with CESVI "continues to seek constant awareness of road safety", in addition to the fact that "it is very positive for our entire value chain in Argentina and the region". For his part, Marcelo Aiello, general manager of CESVI Argentina, acknowledged that during the years of the agreement with GMA "it was demonstrated how the synergy of both companies strengthens the prevention messages in the community. For this reason, we will continue working towards a safer traffic, hand in hand with the new technologies incorporated in Chevrolet models and the experience of our specialists". In the last year, CESVI conducted a total of 570 courses, training more than 6,000 people on driving in light and heavy vehicles, under adverse conditions and habits, among others. Fuente: Autocosmos
